8th Day of Christmas Gift

Ok, so it’s been a few days since I sent your last 12 Days of Christmas gift….

But, if your holidays have been anything like mine, it’s been a season of pleasantly unexpected visits from family and friends.

In addition, Mr Rock Star scored a few days off from work!

It was one of those times where I couldn’t afford to take time away – yet I couldn’t afford not to.

With a houseful of guests…hungry guests…I did what I love to do, and gave my offering of round the clock rock star meals for everyone.

My last few days have been filled by sharing homemade tacos, tamales, barbacoa, cheese platters, sausage and brisket….topped by yesterday’s New Year’s Day meal of homemade chili, cornbread (with hatch green chilis!), black eyed peas, and cabbage.  (I’m definitely from Texas! lol)

While the family & friends are outside playing washer toss…I thought I’d sneak away for a few minutes to drop you this email and wish you a Happy 8th Day of Christmas!

As I mentioned a few days ago, the 12 Days of Christmas starts the day *after Christmas and runs until January 6th.

In the spirit of the song, I’m offering you some business gifts during this time!

Today is the day for Eight Maids a Milking.

In my usual custom, using the *PNC Christmas Price Index, I found some information about today’s celebration…

* In fifteenth- and sixteenth-century England, milk-based products, like cheese and custards, were delicacies, and were reserved for special occasions.

* It takes around 10 pounds of milk to make one pound of cheese, and 12 pounds to make a gallon of ice cream.

* Cows should be milked about two times a day and about 12 hours apart.

* The 2009 price for each Maid a Milking is $7.25 or $58.00 for eight.

That means…today’s gift is our upcoming Google Local class for $58!

Check it out here —> http://riccineermedia.com/workshops/google-local/

I haven’t even begun to promote this event yet because it doesn’t happen until February, but it seemed like the perfect time to let you know about it.

Since there are only 10 spots in my conference room, and I’ve already had some folks find this class listed on the site, I fully expect it to sell out. (and at fifty-eight bucks, I know it will!)

If you’re in Austin and need to optimize your online business presence for Google Local Search, be sure and register this class. Also, if you know someone in the area who could use this important information, please pass this along.
